Escape Protocol rules
Goal
A game for two. In the co-op modes (Evacuation and Puzzle) you are one team: reach the exit door together, alive and before the timer runs out. Versus is the opposite — be the last player standing on the arena.
Bombs
- A bomb is dropped under you and explodes after a couple of seconds — a countdown shows on its ring, so leave the future blast cross in time.
- The blast is a cross: fire travels in 4 directions, smashes crates and kills players. A wave stops at a solid wall.
- Your own bomb kills just like an enemy one. In co-op it kills your partner too — don’t blow up your teammate.
Power-ups
- Drop from broken crates: fire (range), bomb (bomb count), speed.
- Power-ups burn in fire — don’t blow up your own finds.
Modes in detail
- Evacuation: a run of levels, each with its own timer; the first level shows a checklist up top (move, place a bomb, grab a power-up, reach the door). Both players must stand on the exit.
- Puzzle: a single level with a shared bomb pool for the team — waste bombs and you won’t break through.
- Versus: 1v1; if nobody wins by the end of time, the arena starts collapsing towards the centre.
Controls
- Move: WASD or arrow keys.
- Bomb: Space (or E).
- On phones — on-screen controls: a D-pad on the left, bomb on the right.
